Marcos is a Senior Vice President & Partner bringing over 24 years of underwriting experience to Axon’s Crisis Management Team, spanning from London, continental Europe to the United States. He has specialized in Product Recall and Crisis Management insurance.

Prior to Axon, Marcos spent 4 years as North American Regional Practice Group Leader Crisis Management of Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty, responsible for setting up the unit and underwriting multiple industry classes within the food, beverage and consumer goods corporate segments. Marcos trained as a marine and transportation litigation attorney with a Law Degree from ICADE in Madrid, Spain, discovering a passion for Crisis Management insurance 20 years ago. This passion has taken him from Madrid, to London, Paris, and now to Chicago.

Marcos held senior underwriting authority and leadership for Product Recall, Kidnap & Ransom and Piracy in AIG, CV Starr, Novae Syndicate and AGCS, and has also underwritten aviation, political violence and property terrorism.
