Jared joined Axon in December of 2019. As a Senior Underwriter Jared is responsible for underwriting new and renewal business across multiple Axon product lines with primary focus on chemical related accounts. Jared started with Markel in 2012, where we performed multiple roles, ending as an Environmental and Energy Underwriter before moving to Axon. There he developed his underwriting credentials by writing General Liability, Contractors Pollution Liability, Environmental Professional Liability, and Site Pollution Liability coverages for Wholesale and Retail producers. Jared holds a B.S. degree in Marine Biology from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. Now with several years at Axon as well, Jared is ready to help chemical manufacturers and distributors find the best solution possible to their insurance needs.
