Melissa is an Underwriter in Axon’s Middle Market division, specializing in Business Owners Policies (BOP). She has been working in property and casualty insurance since 2003, when she began her career as a policy typist at a wholesaler in San Francisco. Her introduction to the industry began even earlier at First American Title Insurance Company in Minneapolis.

In 2004, Melissa returned to Minnesota, where she spent over 19 years working across both the wholesale and agency sides of the business before joining Axon. She brings a wealth of knowledge and nearly two decades of industry experience to her role.
