Christian Waeldner is a Senior Vice President with Axon Crisis Management, bringing more than 25 years of international experience in specialty lines insurance. He is a recognized leader in crisis management underwriting, product strategy, and portfolio management, with a career spanning carrier and MGA environments. Christian is known for combining rigorous technical underwriting with practical product development, reinsurance strategy, and distribution management to help carrier partners achieve sustainable, profitable growth.

Christian has held senior leadership roles with DUAL North America, Swiss Re Corporate Solutions, Starr Companies, and AIG. Most recently, he served as Managing Principal, Crisis Management at DUAL North America, where he was part of the founding team responsible for launching a new crisis management program from the ground up. In that role, he developed underwriting strategies, governance frameworks, pricing tools, and innovative product initiatives. Previously, Christian served as Senior Vice President and Global Products Head for Product Recall at Swiss Re Corporate Solutions and held crisis management profit center leadership roles at both Starr Companies and AIG.

Christian completed his legal education at the University of Munich in Germany and has been admitted to the German Bar since 2000.
