Griffin graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) in 2018 where he studied forensic science. He began his career in the environmental field as a Polarized Light Microscopy Analyst at Sanair Technology Laboratories. In this role Griffin analyzed samples for the presence of asbestos. He left Sanair and began working as an Environmental Project Manager at an environmental consulting firm named Dominion Due Diligence Group in 2020. As a project manager, Griffin performed Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, Environmental Compliance Reviews, and due diligence research, among other duties.
